On a cold winter's’ day, as the sun shines brightly in a clear blue sky and to find a place inside, at a window…warm; with the sun heating up, radiating through the panes as it heats my face like summer. A warm room with God.
Jesus knew that Peter would strive hard for what he perceived as a good and personally satisfying result. Yet what needed to be conveyed is that ‘good results’ may not be on Peter’s terms, so Jesus was direct to elucidate the matter.

This morning I recalled Kate and the testimony of healing she gave about being led to the healing rooms at Bethel in Redding. It was her last resort, as the doctors could not help, and the prescriptions didn't work. I was also reminded of the day in February 2009 when I sat in an examination room to await the next series of diagnostic procedures to find a solution to my physical ailments.
God will turn up the heat until we are consumed and melt according to His will. Some people refuse to be melted and choose to return to a cold lump. Others liked the first warmth but want nothing beyond. They are unfinished pieces destined for the recycle bin...
As I lay voluntarily under the knife to have all things removed I trusted completely in you Lord. You removed the wrinkles. You removed the cancerous parts. You extracted the rot, mined the ego with pick and tongs, and excavated my selfish heart.

Of course, I put off stepping out to the car to get my notebook, but after what was revealed… I could not go any further without writing in that notebook) My eyes may have read a passage in the Word over and over, year after year; yet only as God reveals ‘keys’ do I see what I am reading with...
LORD, when You shift the fabric of our lives it is done with such deft precision; no one could better the mark. You do this with the sole intent and purpose being that all things point to You alone.
How to be indestructible: Place all of your life into His hands.
Set everything at the altar.
Seek Him first, before any other task, duty appointment or want.
It makes me tremble to know that I “knew”. He’d shown me in a waking vision that there would be someone there to meet me, someone I did not know.
